1Scope
These terms govern every order placed on card-me.ch with card-me Sàrl, Rue de la Gravure 12, 1004 Lausanne, Switzerland (“card-me”, “we”).
By placing an order you accept them in the version published on the day of that order. We apply no other terms and accept none sent to us.
2Products and plans
card-me sells personalised NFC and QR business cards, each paired with a digital profile hosted on our infrastructure. Three plans are available — Essential, Business and Premium — differing in the number of profile blocks and in the materials open to them.
Wood and metal cards are available on the Business and Premium plans only. Illustrations of materials and finishes are indicative: the grain of a wooden card and the exact shade of an anodised one vary from piece to piece.
3Prices
All prices are quoted in Swiss francs and include Swiss VAT at 8.1%. A plan's price is the base; the material you choose may add a surcharge, always shown before you confirm.
The price that applies is the one displayed when you place your order.
4Formation of the contract
Your order is an offer. The contract comes into being when we send you an order confirmation by email.
Until then we may decline an order — for instance where a personalisation is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.
5Personalised goods and returns
Every card is engraved or printed with your own text and design, and is therefore made to order. Once production has started the order can no longer be cancelled and the card cannot be returned or exchanged, except where it is defective.
Please check the preview and the spelling of your text carefully before confirming: we produce exactly what you approve.
6Payment
We accept the means of payment shown at checkout — currently card, TWINT, PostFinance and Apple Pay. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card number.
The full amount is taken when the order is placed.
7Delivery
Delivery within Switzerland is free and normally takes five working days from confirmation. Delivery to Thailand costs CHF 9. We ship with Swiss Post and DHL Express.
Announced lead times are estimates. Risk passes to you when the parcel is handed over to you or to a person at your address.
8Defects and warranty
We warrant the card against manufacturing defects for 24 months from delivery. Report a defect within 14 days of noticing it, with a photograph, to bonjour@card-me.ch.
The warranty does not cover normal wear, damage caused by bending, heat or liquids, or a card altered after delivery.
9The digital profile
Your profile is hosted for as long as your plan is active. We may add, change or withdraw individual features, and will announce any material change in advance.
You are responsible for what you publish on your profile and warrant that you hold the rights to it.
10Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of business.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or gross negligence.
11Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, to the exclusion of its conflict-of-law rules and of the Vienna Sales Convention.
The courts of Lausanne have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory place of jurisdiction available to consumers.
